Introducing our bespoke afternoon teaware collection for The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

Founded in 1893, The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is recognised throughout Canada as one of the largest and most historic luxury hotels. With its proximity Toronto, Montreal and the famous Saint Lawrence River, the hotel enjoys an unsurpassed reputation for French Canadian hospitality.

William Edwards was commissioned to create an exclusive fine bone china teaware collection to enhance the newly developed tea lobby. The same collection was also to be sold in the dedicated retail space in the main foyer.

The concept for this collection was inspired by architectural features and decorative panels within the hotel which have strong French influences, along with the inclusion of the Chateau Frontenac Griffin, a well-known icon at the hotel. The finished colourful and unique design also incorporates a classic French harlequin pattern applied to contemporary shapes.
