Kerridge's Bar & Grill Tableware backstamp

Kerridges Bar and Grill

In 2017, William Edwards approached Tom Kerridge at The Hand & Flowers to create a bespoke range of bone china for his two star Michelin pub, located in the beautiful Georgian town of Marlow.

Tom was so impressed with the resulting collection, he invited William Edwards to develop a further collection for his first London restaurant, Kerridge’s Bar & Grill at the Corinthia Hotel London.

The brief was to embrace the original design created for The Hand and Flowers with a subtle adaptation, along with three signature pieces incorporating a new copper mica finish. This collection was to be used throughout the daytime and evening service.

Chef Tom Kerridge

The Brand

Tom Kerridge is synonymous with British skills and produce. His first venture The Hand and Flowers, is the only pub in the UK with two Michelin stars. His second venture, The Coach at Marlow has one Michelin star.

His approach to dining is great British food with brilliant ingredients cooked simply. His ethos is to make his establishments a safe place where everybody wants to dine.

The concept was to create a bone china tableware range to complement Tom Kerridge’s classic British food, housed within the stunning David Collin’s interiors of the new Kerridge’s Bar & Grill.

Tom wanted to have both a signature range for his classic fish and chip service, as well as a more subtle yet contemporary collection for his main meal service.

Concept & Execution

After his visit to our factory, Tom and his team were able to select both shapes and surface decoration to deliver his tableware vision.
