Bespoke bone china cup and saucer for the House of Lords

Introducing our unique banqueting tableware collection for The House of Lords.

William Edwards has extended their long-standing and close relationship with the Royal Palaces with the launch of a new banqueting tableware collection for The House of Lords at The Palace of Westminster.

The team was commissioned to design a bespoke banqueting tableware collection for use throughout The House of Lords, including on its iconic Terrace overlooking The Thames. The Lords' catering team worked closely with William Edwards to help design the contemporary collection. The finished tableware is inspired by the ever-present Portcullis motif seen throughout the Royal Palace, while the classic burgundy-red colour mirrors the one in The Lords' chamber and interior decoration of the world-famous building.

Speaking about the partnership, William Edwards, commented: "We were delighted to be invited to create a unique banqueting tableware collection for The House of Lords. It was very much a collaborative process and we enjoyed hosting The Lords' catering team at our factory to really refine the design and accelerate the decision-making process."

William Edwards has worked with The House of Lords for over 10 years, supplying both its hospitality outlets and very successful retail shop. It is hoped this highly distinctive range will also become a new retail collection only available in House of Lords' shops and on its dedicated website.
